Listen to what the good/popular voice artists achieve.
Find a good commercial producer who is willing to help.
Prepare a portfolio voicing existing and invented ads.
Offer some dry and some produced tracks.
Include specimen station promos and stabs.
List some of your target stations and Groups.
Find out the name of the Station Manager/Programme Controller/Sales Manager.
Call, speak personally, explain what you want to do and ask if you may send a sample and in what format.
Send it off and check within three days.
Be prepared to accept a lot of rejections but keep trying.
