National lottery awards ..... tell us your story !

Here's our story:-

Once upon a time there was an ickle radio station in rural east cheshire,
one day whilst the volunteers were all sat eating there din-dins baby bear
suggested applying for lottery funding .... everyone agreed. So for the next
5 years they spent wasting all of their time applying for lots of monies
from the lottery, this meant that unfortunately they couldn't get on with
the things that they were supposed to be doing, but nevermind, it was a nice
five years and the sun was always shining .......... after lots of
rejections from the big bad wolf the little piggys in the Canalside house
were frightened that their radio station might get blown over due to the
fact that they had no money and they could only afford straw ..............
grandma in the meantime got eaten ... BUT those lovely chappies at the
Ofcom community fund panel saved the day with a kind award of a few grand
.......... all the children cheered at Canalside and they lived to fight
another day everyone lived happily ever after ....... er ...... I
think ?

Regards

Nick

The National Lottery Awards are an annual search to find the UK's
favourite Lottery-funded projects. Lottery players raise £28 million
each week for projects all across the UK, and the Awards are a great
way to highlight how that funding has changed the UK for the better.
This is your chance to tell your story and celebrate the hard work,
dedication and achievement of your Lottery-funded project.

Now in their eighth year, the Awards recognise the incredible
difference that Lottery-funded projects - both large and small - make
to people, places and communities all across the UK. Click here to
submit your entry:

Or if you would like to nominate a Lottery-funded project call 020 7960
