The search is on to find the BT Internet Ranger of the Year 2010/11.

If you know a young person aged 16 or under who has helped teach
someone else how to use the internet, let them know that they could
win an award.

There will be one national winner in each of England, Northern
Ireland, Scotland and Wales who will win a laptop plus £100 of
vouchers for software / computer equipment and one overall UK winner
who will win an additional £200 worth of IT vouchers. Up to four
runners-up will each win a laptop.

And the BT Internet Rangers School Award will recognise the school, or
group of schools, which does the most to encourage young people, up to
the age of 16, to use their ICT skills to help other people learn
about computers and go online - with a top prize of £4,000 and two
runners-up prizes of £2,500.

Last year one school and four young people from around the UK picked
up prizes. Each helped either an individual or a group of people, to
learn basic computer skills as well as how to use the internet. Check
