This week could be make or break in the battle with Rupert Murdoch.
Vince Cable has asked Ofcom to look at the takeover deal. We have only
four days to convince Ofcom that the Murdoch power grab needs a full
inquiry.

Ofcom has a choice. They could tell Vince to rubber stamp Murdoch's
plans. Or they could say it raises big issues about media control and
democracy and the Competition Commission will have to get involved.

Ofcom has asked for comments to be sent to them this week. If enough
of us tell Ofcom that it would be a disaster for Murdoch to be given
even more control, Ofcom will have no choice but to call a proper
inquiry.

We have only 4 days to make sure Ofcom says that the Murdoch power
grab needs a full inquiry.

To send your message to Ofcom please fill in your details here:

Here are a few things you might want to talk about in your message:

- Tell them you'd like to comment on the proposed takeover of BSkyB by
Rupert Murdoch's NewsCorp
- You could explain why you think the takeover would not be in the
public interest.
- You could say that you think it's bad news for too much media
control to go in the hands of one individual.
- Tell them you think it's a bad move to hand more political influence
to a man who already owns lots of the press
