[cma-l] Refugee Week - community media/radio case studies

Hi everyone

In preparation for the Refugee Week conference this Friday (22nd Jan),
please can you send me any examples of Refugee Week-related activities which
your station or media organisation has taken part in - or is planning for
this year. I'm looking for case studies for the workshop on 'Gaining media
coverage for Refugee Week events' - I'm speaking briefly about community
media/radio as part of this session.

Examples can be large or small, ongoing or short, eg.:
- organised/funded projects, eg training a team of refugee reporters to
report on a Refugee Week event for broadcast
- studio guests
- having a stall for your station/group at a RW event
- music gigs or poetry slams or other original writing, including from
refugees/asylum seekers, which was broadcast on air
- awareness-raising workshops with recorded interviews, eg. between young
people indigenous to the area and young refugees
etc.
