B & Q One Planet Living Grants

The B & Q One Planet Living Grants will shortly be closing for this
year. The grant offers £50 - £250 of B & Q materials and are open to
schools, registered charities or other recognised community groups.
Projects must be within a 20 mile radius of a store and must support
one of the following areas:

* Grow your own

* Support local culture and heritage

* Save energy

* Conserve nature.

Groups have until 30 September 2010 to apply, and until 31 October
2010 to collect their materials. See the B & Q website here for more

Nominet Trust

The next application deadline for full applications to the Nominet
Trust is 22 October 2010. The trust offers grants for projects which
improve access to the internet, support online safety and increase
educational opportunities. The Trust also funds research into
internet-based problems and potential solutions which support their
charitable objectives. You initially need to fill out an online
eligibility form.
