Dear all

In my opinion one of the most exciting jobs in community radio is now
available to an exceptional candidate - see below.

best wishes,

Phil

Wythenshawe FM Project Manager

Wythenshawe FM is an innovative community radio station that broadcasts
specifically to the community of Wythenshawe in South Manchester, an area
affected by multiple disadvantage.

An exceptional Project Manager is now required to oversee the development
and running of this station. The post-holder will have the ability and
vision to
develop and lead a social enterprise, possess excellent organisational
skills,
and have substantial experience of project management including managing
finances and staff. An understanding of the role of media in disadvantaged
communities is required, but radio/media experience is not essential.

*   Salary: £ 26,276 – £ 29,236
*   37.5 hrs per week

Job share applications are encouraged from people who wish to work part-
time or who do not meet all aspects of the person specification.

Closing date for applications: Monday 6th September, 12pm
Interviews:  Tuesday 14th September 2010

The successful candidate(s) will be required to apply for an enhanced CRB
disclosure.

Note that whilst the Project Manager post is offered as a permanent
position,
the continued operation of Wythenshawe FM as a full-time community
station is dependent on additional funding being secured.

Application packs can be downloaded at www.wfmradio.org/jobs.html or
contact Dave or Ellie on 0161 237 5012 to request a paper copy.
