I agree with Phil alltho the press release states truths that are worthy, all sorts of organisations are doing exactly the same in their sector. In this time of financial difficulty this will fall on deaf ears. CMA's job at this time at all times is to nationally promote its members interests so I cannot understand its reticence to the 1% levy. I have been told that it is due to the CMA not wanting to rock the boat and create a precedent. Well sorry guys in this financial crisis it is necessary to rock the boat to make things happen. It is NOT your job to worry about other commercial broadcasters then laying claim to the license fee also. It is also NOT your job to worry about what the BBC think of you unless you are under undue influence from them.

 

I am aware that all posts are moderated so would not be surprised if my views quietly disapeared
