[cma-l] Last call for 2010 Queen’s Volunteer Award nominations

 The Office of the Third Sector is calling for nominations for The
Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service, the MBE for volunteer groups,
ahead of this year’s 5th October deadline.

The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service is a UK National Honour that
was created by Her Majesty to mark the Golden Jubilee in 2002. The
Award recognises the outstanding contributions made to local
communities by groups of volunteers.

Nominations can be made by third sector organisations, friends, family
or members of the public and can be made at any time during the year.
However, for those wishing to be considered for the 2010 Award, forms
must be received by Monday 5th October 2009.
