[cma-l] Station Output Recording: How do you do it?

Hi All,
I'm on the lookout for a better solution for recording our station
output.
Numerous presenters of ours are wanting to record their shows for
editing later on, and our current solution is far from ideal.
Currently, we have a piece of software which records direct from our
webstream. Given our broadband isn't the best in the world, this
method often fails. I've seen that Sonnifex do a specialist machine
that has fancy features like scheduled recording and network access,
but is hundreds of pounds (due to licensing).
So, I'm after a cheaper piece of hardware if anyone has any
suggestions? Ideally, it'd be something we can either connect to a PC
via USB, or insert a memory stick into. Ideally, I'd like it to be
able to have an audio feed connected direct into it if that makes sense?
What do you guys out there currently use?
Many thanks!
Nathan
