[cma-l] Community radio update from Ofcom: 29/07/09

[CMA-L]

Ofcom has re-issued the invitation to apply for community radio
licences in London and other areas within the M25. The new invitation
replaces the previous invitation published on 13 May. The closing date
for all applications within the M25 region is now 3 November 2009.

The invitation has been reissued because of an increase in the number
of available FM frequencies within this region.

Ofcom has also published the reasons for the award of 3 community
radio licences in the southeast of England. They were:

- Meridian FM, East Grinstead

- Uckfield FM, Uckfield,

- Awaaz Radio, High Wycombe
