Hi All,

Wonder if any one can help we have a Marantz PMD660 digital portable
recorder, my problem is when using the external mike it only records
on the left channel, not a lot of good as we are a stereo station.

It has two XLR sockets one marked mono, which as above only records on
left channel, I have tried the other socket then it records on right.

My question is do I need a mike with two XLR plugs which I have never
seen before, or am I missing the obvious here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
