Just thought I'd draw your attention to my current piece of PhD
research/practice "The Flickerman" that was launched a few weeks ago.

It got an excellent review in The Guardian this Wednesday after its
broadcast on Resonance:

http://www.guardian.co.uk/culture/2009/apr/22/radio-head-zoe-williams

She described the project as "new and exciting", the writing as
"brilliant" ("well sometimes brilliant") and said of it that "This is
what people hope to create when they say "interactive", but I've never
seen it work. It is a strange and exhilarating project. " Which is
pretty good for a piece of interactive radio art...

The project web-site is at www.theflickerman.com (check the short film
in episode 1 to get a flavour of the work)

I'm passing out the first three episodes to arts and community
stations - so if anyone is interested in running the series do get in
touch.

Thanks

Lance Dann
