Kick It Out grants deadline approaching

The deadline for Kick It Out and the Football Foundation's 'One Game,
One Community' grants is now just days away.

The grants have been made available to groups across Britain as part
of the forthcoming One Game, One Community weeks of action, and time
is running out for groups to apply, with the deadline this coming
Thursday 11th September. Grants of up to £1,000 on offer to groups for
projects using sport to tackle discrimination and exclusion.

Many high-profile stars have expressed their support for the One Game,
One Community weeks of action, including Aston Villa defender Curtis
Davies, Turkey's Euro 2008 hero Colin Kazim-Richards and Tottenham
Hotspur captain and England international Ledley King, who said "Kick
It Out plays an important role in highlighting and addressing issues
and it's great to be part of that. I'm looking forward to playing my
part in making a difference with Kick It Out during the One Game, One
Community weeks of action."

Organisations who do not wish to apply for a grant can still get
involved in the forthcoming weeks of action by applying for Kick It
Out resources. These resources provide groups with the opportunity to
show their support for the Kick It Out cause.
