"Happy Birthday to Reverb, Happy Birthday to Reverb!!!"

 From 10th – 12th APRIL 2008 Radio Reverb 97.2FM are celebrating their
first year of FM broadcast with a 50 Hour Non-Stop Live Broadcast.

Join Cat & Chris and the Up & Out breakfast team for a big, gay,
caffeine fuelled, sleep deprivation experiment.

50 Hours!! That's 3000 minutes - equivalent to 180,000 seconds of unique
broadcasting. Now that's what you call a BIG Breakfast!

It's jelly and ice-cream, party poppers, and cake – plus: Guest DJs,
Celebrity Interviews, the 'Reverb All Stars' – your favourite Reverb DJs
& Presenters & alternative party games including; "Pin the Tail On The
Drag Queen!"

The party continues into the night with live, outside broadcasts from
top Brighton venues.

2. RadioReverb is Brighton's first and only community radio station.
Awarded a community radio license in 2005, the station has been
broadcasting 24/7 for just shy of a year. RadioReverb's remit is to
create social gains for the people of Brighton and Hove and to broaden
listener choice.

As one of the first tranche of license awardees, RadioReverb is a
flagship operation as a station which is fully functioning, doesn't have
pre-recorded adverts and with a schedule so incredibly diverse that it
truly reflects the community that it serves.

This diversity is reflected through a mixed format which includes both
speech-based programmes and specialist music shows. This includes a show
about parenting, art, science, French and German, as well as folk,
country, sound art and a purely Brighton music show. For more
information see http://www.radioreverb.com.

With just a small core staff team, all of RadioReverb's programming is
locally generated by volunteer programme-makers with individual
specialities, making the station truly "for the community by the community".
