Sophia Michaels is a poet, her passion for poetry having been ignited by
a strict English teacher. One day she started writing while sitting at
her kitchen table, and has never stopped. Her poems is influenced by her
life, by others, and from those people who have inspired her to follow
her passion for poetry.

She has now published two books Deep I ISBN 10898030-74-X, £9.50, a
paperback and also available as an ebook, ISBN 1-898030-94-4 and Rip Raw
ISBN 978-1-898030-83-6, £8.50, both published by Braiswick
and available, to order, from all good bookshops.

Sophia now has a regular 'One Woman' show on Felixstowe Radio,
http://www.felixstoweradio.co.uk broadcast on Friday mornings at 11am,
and is repeated during the week. Her show, like her books, is about
life. She tells it like it is, with no frills, with the odd twist and a
moment or two of happiness, and sometimes sadness.

Sophia says her poetry is her gift, a gift, a passion that will remain
with her for the rest of her life.

Her next book is now being prepared. 'In Time' is dedicated to her
grandmother, who encouraged her to be 'tenacious, never to give up on
her dreams, follow them and strive to achieve her goals'.

Sophia Michaels lives in Ipswich, and is available for interview.
