A little while ago I reported on a project to use the virtual world to
promote re-generation in the real one.

The latest news is that our Member of Parliament has agreed to preside
over the (virtual) re-launch of Skinningrove Jetty during Saltburn Folk
Festival in August.

I will be creating a lookalike avatar for him and recording his speech
in advance of the event.

We also have a reporter from our local Newspaper who wants to report on
the event by being inworld reporting virtually but also reporting for
the press in the real world. Some specially composed Skinningrove songs
will be sung by  children from Whitecliffe Primary School - rehearsals
have begun. There will be boat trips and everything one would expect at
such an event.
