The PMSE consultation and its results will affect any of you doing 
outside broadcasts, covering events, concerts etc.  It will also affect 
local and community TV operators and anyone wanting to develop local 
television services.


  We urge you to respond to this consultation - the deadline for 
responses is 16th October 2008.

We would like to know your views on this as well, to inform the CMA's 
response to the Consultation.

be freed up as a result of digital switchover. Today’s consultation sets
out detailed proposals for appointing a ‘band manager’ with special
obligations to programme makers and special events (PMSE).
