I always recommend to people that they use mAirList when first starting out:
http://www.mairlist.com/en/
It's free and easy-to-use, and it will give you an idea of the
features that are most important to you in a playout system should you
wish to move ahead and purchase a more sophisticated solution.
The Student Radio Association has done an excellent job in listing
many different playout systems and their pros and cons here:
