As the CMA will be representing potentially the largest number of stations
at the DCMS Digital Radio Working Group I'd be please to hear the CMA's view
on the technological platforms which restrict access to community radio as
DAB and many of the potential successors do?

Given the scarce spectrum resource, the central problem is that any
technology based on commercial control of a multiplex is unlikely to be
accessible to 'not for profit' community radio without government /
regulatory intervention.
