[cma-l] costing studio time for contracts

Hello everyone not on holiday!

We're looking at a range of potential contracts to make subject 
specific programmes, but are struggling somewhat with what charges to 
make for studio and technician time.

The cash cost to us of making programmes is quite small because all 
the labour is volunteer, but the skill level is high.  So we feel we 
should be placing a value on technician, studio, broadcast etc time 
that reflects market values, and not just the cost to us.

What do you guys do in these situations?  What sort of charges do you 
make e.g. per hour of recording and/or broadcast time?
