Black History Month (BHM) is held every October in Britain. The aims of
Black History Month are: To promote knowledge of Black History and
experience, Disseminate information on positive Black contributions to
British Society and Heighten the confidence and awareness of Black
people in their cultural heritage.

The CMA would like to hear from community media organisations that are
actively celebrating black history month... For example, stations that
are dedicating a programme to black history or covering an event
celebrating the aims of the month.

Please forward the dates and times of your programmes and any relevant
press releases to website at commedia.org.uk so we can further promote them
on the CMA website: www.commedia.org.uk
