Hi Ray,

"busy boy and to update the site i have to nag him"

Perfect reason for the need for a CMS. This is a commom scenario when
one person is in charge of content. Dreamewaver is a more complex
program than needed and so longs as the site is designed in such a way
as you can edit the content I would recommend an open source free too
called NVU (enview) http://www.nvu.com/

It has built in FTP (to upload altered files) so your busy webmaster may
be able to set it up- for you with passwords etc so you can update some
key pages.

Subject: [cma-l] Websites

Hi guys

First all of many thanks for the replies I received for the production,
was appreciated.

I have a website http://www.asianstar1016.co.uk/ which is great and is
hosted by my web designer.

Now he is a busy boy and to update the site i have to nag him like a 100
times before he does anything.

Is there a way I can update my website myself areas such as the text on
the home page presenter profiles and gallery etc without using him.

He says I need to know how to use an application called Dreamweaver -
anyone got some ideas/suggestions lovely community radio people?
