This message is to test the new webcast-l mailing list (as well as
mention the new BBC iPlayer).

To sign up to test the beta version of the BBC iPlayer then register to
test it here:

Currently the BBC iPlayer will only work on the Windows XP platform
using Internet Explorer and Windows Media Player:

There is a petition, open until 20th August, to request that the Prime
Minister prevents "the BBC from making its iPlayer on-demand television
service available to Windows users only, and instruct the corporation to
provide its service for other operating systems":
