The keynote will be provided by professionals directly invited from the transmedia industry and several scholars and academics will contribute with short talks to what is expected to be the inaugural of a series of yearly events. This mini-conference places Sheffield Hallam University in the international network of the transmedia week open events, situating SHU in the world map of institutions that contribute to this strand of media research, production and exploration.
