[comtv-l] Cheap Thrills - Zero Budget Fim Festival

[CMA-L]

Cheap Thrills is a free independent community film festival about the joy
of home made movies.

There are four rules. Films must be 1. Short (8 mins of less) 2.
Entertaining  3. Family friendly  4. Cheap.

Free technical support is offered to non-moviemakers, and a warm audience
for novice and pro alike. There is no film entry fee, no film festival
admittance.

It all adds up to a friendly event that’s a great night out away from mass
entertainment. It’s about sharing with an audience; it’s about community,
and accessibility, not about money.

The festival was created in 2011 by a team of freelance artists, arts
managers and filmmakers who pull it all together in their own time and with
the goodwill, enthusiasm and creativity of other people. Costs are kept as
low as possible and donations cover the costs of refreshments on the night.
The festival gets bigger, better and cheaper each year!

Submission procedure.
1. Make a movie that is short, entertaining, family friendly and with no
external funding
2. Put it on YouTube (or Vimeo)
3. Send a link via the contact page on this website
4. Await JUDGEMENT
