[comtv-l] Ofcom Update: Joint consultation on Video on Demand "TV-like" services fee structure

ATVOD (the Association for Television On Demand) and Ofcom have today
published a joint consultation on the options for the regulatory fee
structure for Video on Demand service providers for 2011-2012.

The European (AVMS) Directive required the UK to create a new
statutory framework for regulation of Video on Demand services which
are “TV-like”.   The fees are necessary to pay for this regulation.
