Saturday 4th June

Paul Goggins MP, Home Office Minister with responsibility for communities
and the voluntary sector will open the Festival with a keynote speech and
present awards to community media volunteers of the year.
Anthony Lilley, Managing Director of Magic Lantern Productions, will speak
on opportunities for community media in the digital age.

Forest of Dean Radio, the UK’s first fulltime community radio station, will
be heading up the list of experts including Solent Television, CSV and AllFM
running workshops on community radio, television, streaming, working with
volunteers and fundraising.  There’ll also be a chance to talk to PPL on
copyright, find out about community radio in the Netherlands and there’s
entertainment from Desi Radio’s Panjabi dancers.
