Exodus Refugee Arts Festival is looking for films to
show as part of Exodus Shorts at the Cornerhouse
Cinema in Manchester on 21st June.

The Festival is looking for informative films that
give fresh perspectives about the lives of refugees
and people seeking asylum.

These films will be shown along side 'Digital Diaries'
- a project where local filmmakers have teamed up with
people facing deportation to tell the untold stories
behind the political hype and tabloid lies.

Exodus Refugee Arts feel that these issues are so
vital to communicate and would like to circulate them
as a compilation DVD. This DVD would be available to
anyone who would like to screen these films at
cinemas, community events, campaign meetings,
festivals. When the DVD is distributed full credit will
be given to contributors and the material will not be
used for commercial purposes.

Films can be submitted on mini DV, DV CAM or DVD and
should ideally be no longer than 15 minutes. Please
include your name, contact details, year the film was
made and a short description of the film. The deadline
for submissions is Friday 3rd June.

Send submissions to Mick Fuzz or Sara Maguire,
Community Arts North West, Green Fish Resource Centre,
46-50 Oldham Street, Manchester, M4 1LE
