COMMUNITY MEDIA ASSOCIATION CONFERENCE AND AGM 2004
26/27 November 2004
South Birmingham College, Birmingham

+ Voting by Proxy
Annual General Meeting (14.00 - 16.00)

Not able to attend the AGM but would still like to vote in the new CMA
Council? Proxy voting is the answer.

An individual not attending the AGM can appoint someone to vote on his
or her behalf. Please ensure that this is in writing and reaches the
CMA Secretariat by 12.00 noon on Wednesday 24 November 2004. An
organisation can only vote by proxy and should therefore nominate
someone to vote on its behalf at the AGM. Organisation members should
also submit their nomination in writing to the CMA Secretariat by 12.00
noon on Wednesday 24 November 2004. People who attend the AGM can only
carry one proxy whether it be for an individual or an organisation.

Nominations must be in writing and should have a proposer and seconder
who must also be members of the CMA. There are seven places for
election this year to serve a two-year term on the CMA Council.

Further information on the role of Council member is available on the
AGM 2004 website and from the CMA Head Office. Please do contact us if
you would like advice or to discuss standing for election.
