<div><p><b>East London Radio to broadcast live from the ArcelorMittal Orbit – Friday 22 August</b></p>
<p>East London Radio will be launching with a <b><span style="text-decoration:underline">LIVE</span></b> broadcast from the Orbit’s summit.</p>
<p>Start your bank Holiday off right with an evening overlooking the amazing views of East London & beyond on Friday August 22<sup>nd</sup>. Join East London Radio for a drink at the top of the orbit and enjoy a night of live performances, DJs and stunning views. ELR DJs are lined up for the night with special guest <b><i>Savage Animal Sounds </i></b>spinning the best of Deep House, Techno, Tech House, Disco, Acid House and all good electronic sounds.</p>
<p>Started by two friends, Aaron McCarter & Ian Chambers East London Radio, the not for profit radio station aim is to provide real routes into radio for young people, recent graduates, the long term unemployed and those within up and coming areas in <b>East London</b>. The radio’s playlist ranges from soul to disco to hip hop, jungle, grime and even the odd classical track.</p>
<p>East London Radio was a recent media partner with the Leytonstone Arts Trail, an annual arts festival of visual arts in Leytonstone and in February they participated in the Hackney Wick takeover as part of the V&A Friday Late event on February 28<sup>th</sup>. It was also the exclusive community radio station covering <b>Danny Boyle's Shuffle Festival </b>in December 2013 which included Q and As with Danny Boyle, Jarvis Cocker and more! </p>
<p>ELR continues to form strong partnerships with cultural venues and organisations in the area and have teamed up with the Hackney Picturehouse, Rich Mix, The Wapping Hockey Club, Spotlight, Creative Skillset and the ArcelorMittal Orbit in the Olympic Park.</p>
