All aboard the Sittingbourne & Kemsley Light Railway

Art Transmission is an experiment designed to inspire community groups to step out of their comfort zones and make new and unique art for the radio. Three artists have been working with three different community groups across Swale: The Sittingbourne & Kemsley Light Railway, Minster Golden Gloves Amateur Boxing Club and Sheppey Horticulture Society.

The resulting sound art have been broadcast through the Daniel Nash Monday Night Community Show on BRFM 95.6.

Art Transmission invites you to a unique event to celebrate and discuss the new artworks created by sound artists Jim Whelton, Jane Pitt and Kate Chapman. 

Catch the 6.00pm train from Sittingbourne and join us for refreshments in the station house tearoom at Kemsley. Listen as Daniel Nash from BRFM plays out the broadcasts and interviews the artists.
