The Radio Academy is pleased to launch the Nations & Regions Awards
2011 - an opportunity for stations with a TSA under 300,000 to be
recognised in their Branch and to qualify for entry into the 2012 Sony
Radio Academy Awards Station of the Year (under 300,000) category.

The aim of the awards is to celebrate programming that caters for the
needs of a local or regional UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man
audience. Judging and awards presentations are organised by The Radio
Academy’s Branches and will take place before the end of 2011.

The Awards are for stations with a potential adult listenership,
published TSA or editorial coverage area of under 300,000.

Each Branch will award one Nations & Regions Award to the station that
the judges feel demonstrates the most consistently outstanding output.
The judging process will be completed by 8th December and the winners
will be awarded at each Branch’s N&R Award Presentation Evening as
soon as possible thereafter.

Entries must be submitted by Wednesday 9th November 2011 to:

The cost of entering is £20 + VAT (£24.00). Please include a cheque
for this amount, payable to ‘The Radio Academy’.
