APOLOGIES FOR CROSS POSTING

WANTED - an **experienced youth worker** to provide much-needed activities
for children and young people at a community radio station based in a
disadvantaged area of Manchester.*

 *Radio Regen* is a charity that uses radio to help disadvantaged
communities help themselves.

 We are currently seeking a youth worker to develop youth engagement
activities at *Wythenshawe FM* - a dynamic and innovative full-time
community radio station that broadcasts specifically to the community of
Wythenshawe in South Manchester, an area affected by multiple disadvantage.

 The post-holder should possess a youth work qualification and have
experience of working with children and young people in a developmental
role.  Strong project management skills are also required.  Radio production
skills are desirable, but training in this area can be provided if
necessary.

 The successful candidate will be required to apply for an enhanced CRB
disclosure.

   - The post is funded by BBC Children in Need and is a fixed term 18 month
   contract.


   - Salary - £20,339


   - 5% employers' pension contribution matched to employee contribution


   - 37.5 hrs per week
