26 hours per week, flexible

Fixed Term Contract until 31st March 2008

Bolton Council is working in partnership with Bolton FM to bring
community radio to the Borough.  A licence will be sought in Autumn 2007
and a training programme for volunteers is being established.
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic person to work within
the Arts Development Unit to recruit volunteers, develop a training
programme and assist with the future development of Bolton FM. You will
work with a wide range of community groups and individuals.  You will be
required to think on your feet, be positive in attitude and work
creatively under pressure.  Experience of the voluntary / community
sector and a good knowledge of broadcast and local radio issues are
essential.
