Radio Asian Fever is now recruiting for the following position:

Job Title: Project Director

Location: Radio Asian Fever, 229 Roundhay Road, Leeds LS8 4HS.
Salary: Local Authority Scale PO2 – PO3 (Negotiable based on experience) 
plus 5% pension contribution
Hours: 35hrs per week.

Radio Asian Fever is a full time Community Radio Licence holder, based 
in the heart of Harehills Leeds broadcasting for the South Asian community.
We are looking for a bright, motivated and experienced individual to 
take over the operation and development of our thriving community radio 
station.

You will be responsible for delivering training, organising broadcasts 
in accordance with Ofcom licensing regulations, to maintain the 
broadcasting studio and training equipment.  To inspire, recruit and 
train young people and members of the South Asian Community to create 
great community radio. You will have focus, determination and understand 
the complexities of undertaking funded work. You will use your own 
initiative and wide ranging skills to engage with people to ensure the 
future success of the project; to provide dynamic leadership and bring 
strong business acumen to the post.  You will have the ability to ensure 
that Radio Asian Fever has a high profile externally whilst delivering a 
high quality accessible and cost effective service.

As well as at least five years radio broadcasting and management 
experience, you will have the leadership and networking skills and 
fluent in two South Asian community languages to drive Radio Asian Fever 
forward. You will also have fundraising and financial experience, plus a 
track record of strategic planning and managing change.
