[CMA R] Radio Fund deadline - don't miss out!

If you are eligible to apply to the current round of the Community Radio
Fund (i.e. have been awarded a full five year licence and will be on air by
end March 2006)- a reminder that the deadline is NEXT WEDNESDAY 18th January
(midnight). Both print and electronic versions of your application form have
to be with Ofcom by that date. About 20 stations are eligible to apply and
Ofcom has received only four applications so far. DON'T MISS YOUR CHANCE!
Stations can apply individually for grants as well as in partnership with
other licensed stations. Ofcom has said that it may award more than one
grant to a station if one bid is for the station and the other for the
partnership (time to get creative here!). Roger Drury of Forest of Dean
Radio is co-ordinating a joint bid for a shared training event. You can
contact Roger on  roger at fodradio.org to support this bid.

For stations who are not eligible for this first round, Ofcom is looking at
May/June this year for the next round.
