COMMUNITY MEDIA ASSOCIATION CONFERENCE AND AGM 2005
11/12 November 2005
NCVO Conference Suite, London
Annual General Meeting (14.00 - 16.15)
+ Personal Statements +
This is to remind you that the deadline for CMA Council Nominations
is 12.00 noon, Wednesday 2 November 2005.
Nominees for Council Membership must be paid-up members of the CMA,
or representatives of organisations, which are themselves paid-up
members. Nominations must be in writing and should have a proposer
and seconder who must also be members of the CMA. There are eight
places for election this year to serve a two-year term on the CMA
Council.
At the AGM you will need to make a very short presentation saying why
you would like to stand for the Council and what you
feel you can offer (1 minutes = approximately 240 words). If you are
unable to attend, please could you nominate someone to read the
statement on your behalf - otherwise a member of the CMA staff could
read it. We would like, if possible, to put these statements on the
website so, if you can, please could you email your statement to
michelle at commedia.org.uk when you send your nomination form.
Nomination forms can posted to the CMA head office:
15 Paternoster Row
Sheffield S1 2BX
You can also fax your nomination form to the CMA on: 0114 279 8976
Further information on the role of Council member is available on the
AGM 2005 website and from the CMA Head Office. Please do contact us
if you would like advice or to discuss standing for election.
