<div dir="ltr"><div><b>The Home Office is inviting charities and other not-for-profit organisations in England and Wales that are working to challenge extremism in their communities to apply to round three of its four-year programme of grants and in-kind communications support.</b><br></div><div><br></div><div>The Home Office established the four-year Building a Stronger Britain Together (BSBT) programme in September 2016 to help deliver a key strand of the Government’s Counter-Extremism Strategy published in 2015. The programme aims to promote and strengthen positive mainstream voices across Britain.</div><div><br></div><div>The Building a Stronger Britain Together Programme is available in England and Wales only. It offers both grant funding and in-kind support to civil society and community organisations that are working to create more resilient communities, to stand up to extremism in all its forms and to offer vulnerable individuals a positive alternative, regardless of race, faith, sexuality, age, and gender.</div><div><br></div><div>The Fund offers the following:</div><div><ul><li>Grants of between either £1,000 and £14,999 or £15,000 and £50,000.<br></li><li>In-kind support up to a value of £75,000. This might include social media training, help setting up a website or advice on media activity.<br></li></ul></div><div>Any registered UK charity, charitable incorporated organisation, company limited by guarantee, not for profit registered community interest company, or constituted community and voluntary sector organisation can apply as long as they have been in existence for at least 12 months.</div><div><br></div><div>Groups applying for grants of up to £14,999 must have an income of less than £200,000. For applications for grants between £15,000 and £50,000, priority will be given to groups with an income of less than £250,000.
