</head><body><p>Incidentally, for those using dongles, modems etc that need a SIM, the cheapest convenient option may be a machine-to-machine SIM rather than a voice-based monthly or PAYG. These come in under £10/year with free incoming SMS.<br></p><p>I use these for modems used for remote control of distant relay transmitters, RBRs etc where there is 2G mobile coverage but no broadband on site.
