seeks a new station manager to oversee day to day operations.</div><div><br></div><div>After several years of endless dedication, co-founder and current station manager Pete Appleyard
will be stepping down at the end of April to concentrate on future commitments. The management
team and existing volunteers are now eagerly searching for a like-minded and dedicated professional
to come forward and help manage the station.</div><div><br></div><div>The station manager plays a fundamental role in the day-to-day running of the station, overseeing all
on-air activities (including programming) as well as training & volunteer induction. This challenging,
but rewarding role is voluntary and requires a commitment of a minimum of 15 hours a week.</div><div><br></div><div>Interested parties should be open to a challenge, have a basic understanding of IT and audio
systems, hold a good understanding of the purpose and format of a community radio station and be
familiar with current Ofcom practices.</div><div><br></div><div>Alongside this role, the community project welcomes new volunteers to help support existing roles
