<DIV>Ofcom are trying to work with the CR sector to find a ‘lighter touch’
approach to Key Commitments. I bet they were as surprised as we were to
find so many stations in breach, and they could probably do without the workload
generated as a result. My first response would be to look at the way
we write KCs. But Ofcom are going one better than that and are encouraging
us to help them find a new way of reporting & measuring what we do.
The team at Ofcom want to see CR grow and prosper, I’m sure. </DIV>

about in the main because folk are fed up with banging their head against a

tongue ‘’what’s the point ?’’ ‘’nothing gets done’’

hurdles. I like to believe we have been talking to the right people at both

to get the result you’d like. We’re back on the topic of rules or guidelines
again. Is ‘IT’ a rule or a guideline ? if it is a
guideline then there is room for discussion, if it is a rule and it is complete
contrary to what you are trying to achieve, then that’s why we are all on the
receiving end of the words ‘’no / because’’<o:p></o:p></SPAN></FONT></P>
