Radio Toolkit</a> web site is re-launched this week with revised content
in the Toolkit, and a new and unique guide to Social Media for Community
Radio. The latter is the product of a Radio Regen project that also
offers support to stations seeking to improve their use of social media.<u></u><u></u></span></font></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="background-image:initial;background-repeat:initial"><font size="3" face="Times New Roman"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">The site is based on
Radio Regen's, and other sector leaders' experience in setting up and running
stations and has been widely praised as an essential tool for community radio
leaders. The old site had over two thousand subscribers from the UK and
overseas and many community radio people have told Radio Regen that its
information was indispensable to their work setting up and running stations.<u></u><u></u></span></font></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="background-image:initial;background-repeat:initial"><font size="3" face="Times New Roman"><span style="font-size:12.0pt"> <u></u><u></u></span></font></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="background-image:initial;background-repeat:initial"><font size="3" face="Times New Roman"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">The <b><span style="font-weight:bold">Social Media</span></b> project is funded by the
Community Radio Fund and contains practical advice on how to optimise your
station’s use of social media, how to plan it and, where necessary, control
it. The section also discusses innovative ways in which social media can
be used to generate income. The project is also offering a limited amount
of free support on the topic.<u></u><u></u></span></font></p>
