Oh yes, the old chestnut radiation
hazard - not very much even at 100 watts - I did a work up some
years ago based on the Radiological Protection Board Info (do they
still exist?). That didn't stop the council paying a consultant
who I recall commented on the proposal to reduce the power to 10
watts if anyone was on the roof as over the top, you can't win.
Ask for one of their standard agreements, preferably in word
doc form ad then amend it to your requirements. They will
have various protective clauses in. They won’t stand for
deleting any of them…BUT make sure that any you need (
notice on rights of entry, consultation before they take any
enforcement action etc) are added.

They are probably being awkward because it is an
unknown area to them and they are nervous...
Thanks for this. Price isn’t the issue. Hard as it
might be to believe, the Estate department for this LA
don’t have an agreement suitable - or are using this
as a way of derailing the process. They’ve put the
onus back on the community station. So the station is
asking if anyone has ‘been there, done that’ and has a
working agreement in place with their local authority
they can share.
Thanks
Not sure what the problem is - if council sites are
run by the Estates department who probably only deal
with telecoms companies a high rental charge might
be your issue? As has been said by other
respondents you will need to get the ward councillor
involved. If they won't move because of the
potential loss of income by letting it cheap I
suggest you look for another site or something like
a fake flagpole which is grounded and hence not
stuck on the fabric of the building!
have a simple agreement you have used either with
a local authority or similar organisation. Much
