w:st="on">Cardiff</st1:City>, <st1:City w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Portsmouth</st1:place></st1:City>
or a rural Community out in the sticks ….. I bet you that the
Presenters on the Community Stations don’t mention LOCALNESS on every
link ! I tend to have a 65/35 sway

half-way House ……………there would certainly be more
speech content than just having Arthur Smith doing a guess the year from 1963 ……..
also remember there are two types of
speech there’s the guy who
talks for ten minutes and by the end of it hasn’t actually said anything,

with that original ethos. Are we “getting too big for our boots”
and trying to become something that we were never intended to be? Is there a
danger that by introducing more syndicated content, we risk losing our identity
and becoming the very thing that we’re trying to avoid/supplement - just
another one of the “national local” stations?<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
