<div dir="ltr"><div class="gmail_quote"><div dir="ltr"><div class="gmail_extra"><div class="gmail_quote"><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0 0 0 .8ex;border-left:1px #ccc solid;padding-left:1ex"><div dir="ltr"><div class="gmail_quote"><div dir="ltr">Hi everybody, <div><br></div><div>Bit of a heads up from Reprezent following the news that Manchester is going to be in control of their whole NHS budget.......</div><div><br></div><div>We managed to get a decent commission from one of our local Clinical Comissioning Groups (CCG) to run a campaign during last years Mental Health Awareness Week. CCG's are in control of local health budgets, in order to respond to specific local needs. The one we worked with has one of the largest youth populations in the country, so it was a good fit with us. </div><div><br></div><div>Much as CCG's can recognise and respond to local need, so can Community Stations. </div><div><br></div><div>It's a good idea to look at their local priorities and how your station aligns with them, then make an approach! Ours targeted the stigma around discussing mental health, and the resultant ignorance and fear. This problem in the long term can become critical if the person is unaware of the support available, as well as costly to society.
