this CR-wide imaging is well received then we'd look to be a part of it too.
Though for us I would suggest that the parts where a station name is sung/said
is still kept local and produced in-house as, in our case at least, our
volunteers have worked hard the past 12 months to redefine our station sound and
line up some great voices and a solid imaging package for us. I think bumpers
would sit a lot better for us than having it throughout.

Then again,

lot. Here's where the
tricky bit comes in .. well, it ain't tricky, the
ones that want the
business then bid for it and we get a good price whacked

all the Company has to do is sing or speak the
Station name in the middle

...

It possibly wouldn't work for those Stations broadcasting

perhaps we can find a
way to deliver it which works for
everyone. How about we agree a common
strapline and then we get
some imaging made up with a common beginning and
ending (the strapline)
with space in the middle for each station to voice
over their own id.
It might sound something like this:

"Live and local community

sing the same message but with a
local voice - which is what listeners

It wouldn't cost much to do.

Taking it further, how about
