and determined that as an industry we can create an exciting and modern event that retains the gravitas of over 30 years of Awards.”</div><div style="margin:0px 0px 10px;">The Radio Academy is run by the BBC, Global, Bauer, UTV, RIG and Radiocentre who are all aligned in their ambition to create the new event. The Executive Unit, home to a number of full time staff, will close in its current form at the end of the year.</div><div style="margin:0px 0px 10px;">The Radio Production Awards and Arqiva Hall of Fame Lunch will continue, but there’s no news on the future of the Radio Academy’s other big event, the Radio Festival.</div><div style="margin:0px 0px 10px;">We’re in touch with the Academy and will update this story soon.</div></div></div></div>
