<b>Saturday 14th June 2014 at De Montfort University in
Leicester.<br>
<br>
</b>Have you booked your ticket for this years CMA
conference? <br>
<br>
<b>"This is the conference our members have wanted. Come
along and find out how the CMA is offering more vibrant
and visionary sector leadership whilst helping our
members meet the challenges we all face in delivering
community media with social impact.” Dom Chambers, CMA
Chair</b><br>
<br>
The theme of this year’s event is <b>“Sound Vision”</b> –
an important subject as DCMS reviews the legislation
governing community radio and the first wave of local
television stations come on stream.<br>
<br>
We have a key note speech from Paul Robinson from The
Radio Academy. And there will be sessions on Local TV,
community reporting and journalist techniques. We will
also have an update on the BBC community radio day. There
will be an opportunity to hear from Dom Chambers, CMA
Chair, about new developments and vision and there will be
a chance to be updated by CMA staff on their work.<br>
<br>
There will be plenty of time for networking and lunch is
included on the day.<br>
<br>
This year CMA is able to offer a reduced ticket price for
members. At £50 per ticket this is our lowest price for
three years.<br>
<br>
We are also offering one free volunteer place for each
paid ticket purchased. Use the code<b> victor14</b> to
claim a free volunteer place when you book your ticket.<br>
