around’’ around for funding, pushing a huge rock up a hill and
against restrictions we may be able to create a bit of work for a few people …….
each station taking on 3 people throughout the Country is employment for approx’
600 – ish …. That’s
POSITIVE in my book, also, more
bodies around the studios and in the office means tasks completed, less chance
of live’ programming not going out, more chance of forms being completed,
less chance of the Station Managers working 40 hour weeks for buttons plus
another 40 hours voluntary on top to keep the station on-air.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

it is due to the fact that the person who we employed has been let go because
of the restrictions ……. So, instead of ‘going off-air’
we repeat Sunday evenings programme ………. or listeners are
fully aware that it is a repeat, I reminded them 5 times this morning myself
and they seem OK with it. It is a pity as well that we actually have people who
have got nothing else better to do in their lives than complain about community
radio …………. Most
of these problems are in the hands of Mr Hunt and his Ministers, trouble is, he’s
got a new Train set to play with <> TV …….. oh and not forgetting
the Olympics.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
